Located between Carnac and Quiberon, just 7 km from Auray and the historic port of St-Goustan, Les cabanes perchées de Dihan offers a range of unique accommodation in a natural setting. Guests can choose traditional rooms and chalets or opt for a more adventurous stay in a Mongolian yurt, a wooden caravan, a treehouse, or a tent suspended in a tree.
Half of the Dihan countryside, between Carnac and Quiberon, is woodland: hundred-year-old oak and chestnut trees, maritime pines so emblematic of the Morbihan and proof of the sea’s presence, heathland with golden flowers and heather… It forms one of Brittany’s prized natural assets and one that we would like to share with our guests.
The Bubble tents are six transparent spheres (made from plastic glass and a curtain to block light and provide privacy) suspended some 1.5m from the ground among the Morbihan’s maritime pines. They allow guests to fully soak in the surroundings and enjoy a unique holiday under the stars. Each tent is equipped with a large, comfortable, round mattress, and access to the tent is provided by a fun little ladder.
This new concept of tents suspended from the trees is the perfect way to discover the local flora and fauna and to sleep under the stars while remaining sheltered. Bubble tents are a superb ecotourism experience, a unique night perfect for a romantic weekend, a family holiday with plenty of fun for the kids, or a holiday with friends. The capacity of each Bubble tent: 1-2 adults. 2-3 children per bubble tent.
