Treehouse in Germany: The Urban Treehouse

The Urban Treehouse, a very special place consisting of two tree-shaped houses perched 4 meters off the ground level.

Set in a 650 sqm garden in the southwestern border of Berlin’s Grunewald Forest, yet close enough to the hectic urban life of Berlin, lies The Urban Treehouse, a very special place consisting of two tree-shaped houses perched 4 meters off the ground level. Both treehouses are also within close reach are the beautiful lakes of Krumme Lanke and Schlachtensee.

Designed by Andreas Wenning from Baumraum (a leading architecture firm specialized in treehouses), the two innovative accommodation modules come with clean, cutting-edge design and bright, contemporary interiors appointed with all modern luxuries, from fully-equipped bathrooms and kitchenettes to plasma TVs and fresh, versatile furnishings.

Bordering both Berlin’s forest and urban life, guests will feel at home with every amenities they need and easy access to both the natural and social worlds. They can drop by the bakery, restaurant, or the beer garden around the corner, or simply venture through the forest to greet the birds and dip their toes in the lake.

Starting in 2015, the two tree houses are available for short-term stays. They’re exclusively rented to the member of the Urban Treehouse Family and their friends. Info: [email protected] / web: urban-treehouse-berlin.com/
