Only 90 minutes from London and situated on the stunning southern coastline and New Forest National Park, Chewton Glen Hotel and Spa is a true English original. Chewton Glen takes full advantage of its location in the New Forest, adding 12 luxury treehouses to its complement of available rooms in the main hotel. These structures really are something else; they are hidden away in the wooded valley and from the main hotel you would not even know that they are there. Each one is suspended 35 feet off of the ground, providing spectacular panoramas of the surrounding countryside. The designers knew what they were doing in that many of the walls of the treehouses are purely windows, so the view is completely uninterrupted, whatever room of the treehouse you may be standing in.

The treehouses at Chewton Glen are of varying sizes, though there are elements of luxury that they all have in common. Breakfast is delivered via a hamper every morning that you stay, so the seclusion of the treehouse need not be broken after a perfect night’s sleep. Underfloor heating is present throughout, which is a treat indeed during chilly English weather. Each treehouse has a wonderful terrace with a private hot tub, so whatever the weather may be, guests can still take a soak outside and immerse themselves in their natural surroundings.
