Treehouse in the UK: Lavender Hill Treehouse

The Lavender Hill Treehouse occupies a special area of the Somerset countryside in England. This rural area has the national park of Exmoor on the doorstep and the stunning Somerset coastline is within a short driving distance. The Quantock Hills are also a feature of the area, as well as countless pretty villages and little towns. It is a perfect area for a family holiday and this treehouse is the perfect luxury accommodation for the whole family.

Upon stepping into the Lavender Hill Treehouse, an expansive open-plan living area greets you. It has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with TV, wood-burning fireplace, cozy nooks, and every home comfort guests might need. It is hard to tell that this house is encasing an old and wonderful tree, though the central pillar, round shape, and rustic finish are all giveaways. Up the spiral staircase is the master bedroom of sorts, though the bed is simply snugly fitted into the open space. A further single bed is found across the way and windows regularly break the walls giving awesome views of the expansive countryside beyond.

When the weather is fine, guests of the Lavender Hill Treehouse will be hard pushed to leave the incredible open deck that surrounds most of the house. It is built on two levels and provides almost as much living space as the house itself. On the lower level is a private hot tub, which can of course be enjoyed whatever the English weather may be doing! It is a real treat to immerse oneself in the warm water while enjoying the view over the fields and trees. It brings a real sense of peace and a chance to escape from the busy world, which is exactly what most of us want from a holiday.

A break at Lavender Hill Treehouse costs from €200 per night, though single night stays are not available, rather a 3-night minimum. This includes access to an indoor heated pool, games room, and hot tub.
