Treehouse in the UK: West Lexham Tree Temples

Why stay in a house when you can book a holiday in a temple? The West Lexham Tree Temples are built on an estate in the east of the UK, which is comprised of 21 acres of woodland, gardens, and meadows, all teeming with nature and wildlife. A lake is also found on the property, which is perfect for a refreshing dip in the summer, though for the less adventurous souls there is a heated swimming pool for such activities! Guests can choose one of 5 different treehouses, each one unique and each one creating a special holiday indeed.

The smallest of the treehouses at West Lexham Tree Temples are suitable for couples to stay and the largest can sleep up to 6. The two ‘temples’ are huts built at ground level, while the other three properties are elevated structures, resting on stilts and providing a view into the surrounding forest canopy. Each smaller treehouse is equipped with a simple kitchen, enough for morning coffee and easy meals, though larger feasts will need to be prepared in the communal and larger Garden Kitchen, a separate building for this purpose. The larger treehouses have everything you need for your whole stay.

The treehouses at West Lexham Tree Temples look like something straight out of a fairy tale. Each one fits perfectly and snugly into the surrounding forest. When staying here, guests will feel like they are the only people in the whole woods, and what better way to escape from real life and recharge? Each house has an awesome outdoor space, either a terrace, mezzanine, or balcony of sorts, so if the view from the windows is not enough, guests can step out and be fully immersed in nature.

A stay at West Lexham Tree Temples starts at €350. A minimum stay of two nights is usually required. The whole site is dog-friendly and a great place for a relaxing family holiday.
