Treehouse in the USA: Primland Resort Treehouses

To indulge in some real luxury, head to the Primland Resort Treehouses in Virginia. Situated in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this huge mansion is surrounded by spectacular scenery while offering a range of activities and treats for all its guests. It prides itself on being a sporting retreat and is considered to be among America’s leaders when it comes to providing a spectrum of sport activities, both indoors and outdoors, for all guests. To get to the Primland Resort Treehouses, guests need to take a short drive from the main lodge itself. They are somewhat of a retreat from the retreat. These intimate cabins are built around the solid branches of the treetops, each giving way to sweeping views of the majestic Kibler Valley and the Dan River Gorge from the comfort of a vast private deck. Each treehouse is an incredible construction and warrants a little further description.

Each of Primland Resort’s Treehouses is named. Barn Owl provides, as the name suggests, a unique lodging experience, giving guests the perspective of an owl perched in the branches of the old oak tree. The oak in question was chosen due to its being situated on a scenic ridge offering sweeping views of the valley below. Cooper’s Hawk is built of cedarwood and spans two mature trees. It is located on a mountain peak and the rustic lodge has more than 400 square feet of living space, with all the amenities guests could want. Finally, the Golden Eagle is set in the strong limbs of one of the oldest and most beautiful oak trees on the property. It was constructed using a special binding system, allowing the treehouse to take form without a single nail being driven into the host tree.
