The Washougal Riverside Treehouse has a lovely wooden staircase winding up to the main entrance. The deck area here leads into the main living area of the treehouse, a spacious bedroom with a large glass door. From here or the deck outside, guests can take in the amazing view of the river running past, and as evening approaches the setting sun can also be seen over the river. Furnishings throughout are tasteful and vintage, though they look as though they could have been made just for this home.

Additional facilities for guests are found in the owner’s main house as the Washougal Riverside Treehouse is predominantly a cozy bedroom. A fully equipped bathroom is in the main house, as well as a kitchen for guests’ use as they need. A microwave and mini-fridge are provided in the treehouse and there is also a TV, though guests may find themselves content enough to sit out on the porch and watch the world go by.

A little way down the river from the Washougal Riverside Property is a sandy swimming hole, perfect for a refreshing dip. Though it feels as though it is in the middle of nowhere, this property is only 15 minutes away from the airport and a 20-minute drive from Portland.
